Kid Colt rousts rustlers with blazing six-guns, but is creased and knocked out. He's captured by Scott McCord, federal marshal, who contends KC killed his brother. The killer had a yellow beard and gold medallion. The rustlers get the drop and capture both. KC throws in with the rustlers - long enough to hustle McCord to safety. They drop an avalanche on the rustlers. And KC rides out to find a killer with a yellow beard and gold medallion - and possibly clear his name!
