Marvel's favorite frontier gunslinger finds himself far from familiar territory in Kid Colt Outlaw #228 — the cover by Gene Colan and Dave Cockrum drops Kid Colt onto the deck of a tall ship, where a menacing pirate looms over him and taunts, "You may be a terror on land, Colt — but on the open sea you're just shark bait!" Below the hull, those ominous dorsal fins circling in the churning water make it clear the threat is very real.
