Kid Colt Outlaw #137

This November 1967 Marvel western puts Kid Colt right in the thick of it — the cover by Dick Ayers and Vince Colletta depicts him in a fierce rooftop brawl atop a moving train, trading shots and kicks with multiple armed opponents while additional gunmen loom above and riders pursue in the smoky background. A inset panel at the bottom spotlights Kid Colt up close, revolver drawn and expression steely, teasing the bonus tale "McClintrok's Guns!" alongside the main story "The Bounty-Hunter and the Bullwhip!" There's a lot of hard-riding, six-shooting energy packed into this single cover, making it a fine example of Marvel's mid-'60s western line firing on all cylinders.
