Ka-Zar #6

Ka-Zar and a hulking, winged adversary grapple in a visceral, close-quarters struggle on Andy Kubert and Jesse Delperdang's cover — the Lord of the Savage Land clutching a blade while his monstrous foe bears down on him from above. Issue #6 of Mark Waid's 1997 series brings the raw, primal energy the Savage Land demands, with Rinaldi's interior art promising plenty of jungle-fueled tension to match the cover's intensity. "Hide and Seek" sounds like a dangerous game when Ka-Zar is the one being hunted.
