Ka-Zar #20

Ka-Zar, Lord of the Hidden Jungle, faces one of his most intense challenges yet in this 1977 Marvel issue, with the cover by Gil Kane and Dan Adkins putting the raw energy on full display. The blond jungle lord surges forward alongside his saber-tooth companion Zabu, while the red-suited villain Klaw — Master of Sound — unleashes his sonic weaponry in a clash the cover boldly promises is a "final battle." Rounding out the threat are the Barbarian Hordes of Quarl, making this "Assault on a Fortress of Fear" one of the more densely packed confrontations of Ka-Zar's series.
