Ka-Zar, Lord of the Hidden Jungle, erupts off this 1976 Marvel cover in a blaze of raw power — the blond jungle lord bursts free from heavy chains, scattering debris as armed, grey-skinned warriors close in around a dark-haired woman caught in the chaos. Cover art by Gil Kane, John Romita, and Klaus Janson gives the scene a kinetic, larger-than-life energy that perfectly suits the tagline "This Savage Unchained!"
