☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis is an anthology issue featuring two main stories. "Claws of the Roaring Congo" follows Kaänga as he battles a giant gorilla while pursuing treasure trails, ultimately defeating the creature through combat with a companion's aid. "Jungle Girl" depicts Camilla, the flame queen of the Congo, defending her tribal territory against N'Tomba and his forces, involving encounters with wild animals and deadly pursuits through the jungle landscape.
In the heart of Kaänga's jungle, Professor Lynne and his daughter journey to document the elusive annual gorilla mating ritual, unaware their safari guide, Cass, has far more sinister plans. As the expedition delves deeper into the wild, deception and danger unfold beneath the canopy—until Kaänga intervenes, turning the jungle’s secrets against the traitor.
In "null," Kaänga and his paralyzed companion N'geeso journey to a hidden valley where a forgotten tribe of whites lives in ancient fashion. When Kaänga disrupts a sacred courtship ritual, he incites the wrath of Gortha, a giant sworn to destroy the city and kill Kaänga for the insult. With the help of the now-cured N'geeso, Kaänga must outwit Gortha’s fury and the chaos of his war elephants before the city falls.
In the heart of the jungle, the ruthless warlord N'tomba leads his people in brutal raids, capturing a trio of hunters and Ann. As he prepares to execute them, Kaänga arrives, forcing a showdown that will decide N'tomba’s fate. With the fate of the tribe hanging in the balance, a duel erupts between N'tomba and one of the hunters.
