“Blood-Moon over the Whispering Veldt”

In "Blood-Moon over the Whispering Veldt," a jungle priestess manipulates her tribe by framing Wambi for murder, turning even the animals against him. Captured and sentenced to trial by dunking, Wambi’s fate hangs in the balance until his loyal companion Tawn stages a daring rescue. The story unfolds with tension and suspense, rooted in betrayal and justice, all rendered in the dynamic style of John Forte with inks by Al Feldstein and the Iger Shop. The cover by Joe Doolin captures the drama with a striking, atmospheric image of the jungle under a blood-red moon.
