“Terror Raid of the Congo Caesar!”

In "Terror Raid of the Congo Caesar!", a prince and a slave girl flee into the wild, seeking refuge with Wambi, the jungle’s guardian. When the animals of the forest hold a conference to protest the humans’ presence, Wambi’s defiant act of throwing a wasps’ nest into the gathering sets off a chain of violence — especially when Sirdah the tiger, enraged by the stings, turns his fury on the fleeing couple. Written by Roy L. Smith and illustrated by Frank Doyle, this pulse-pounding adventure unfolds under the watchful eyes of the jungle itself, with Joe Doolin’s cover capturing the primal tension.

A prince and a slave girl elope and Wambi hides them in a cave. The jungle animals call a conference and tell Wambi that by allowing humans to hide in the jungle he is breaking the jungle law. Wambi dissolves the conference by throwing a wasps' nest at the animals. The wasp stings enrage Sirdah the tiger and he goes to kill the prince and his wife. Wambi and Tawn prevent him from harming the couple.
