With Mera, Aquaman returns to help the JLA battle Amazo in Vancouver. With information gleaned from the trip to the Fortress of Solitude, the Martian Manhunter is able to stop the android. Having rekindled his marriage, Aquaman decides to resign from the League. Disgusted with the new JLA, General Hank Heywood decides to don his Commander Steel costume and retake the Bunker back from the League.
