Justice League Dark #20

Part two of "Horror City: The Nightmare Gospel" arrives in this July 2013 New 52 entry, with a cover by Mikel Janín that throws the Justice League Dark headlong into chaos. The Flash crackles with electric speed at the center of the action while a dark-haired woman and a wide-eyed civilian are caught in the fray, all three menaced by a looming, monstrous Swamp Thing and a horde of grotesque undead figures pressing in from above. Writers Jeff Lemire and Ray Fawkes are clearly leaning into the supernatural horror of the title, and with guest stars Swamp Thing and the Flash sharing the cover, this issue promises an unsettling collision between DC's supernatural and superhero worlds.
