Part of DC's 2013 "Forever Evil" event, this issue of Justice League brings together a striking assembly of characters on Ivan Reis and Joe Prado's dynamic cover — Superman and Wonder Woman lead the charge with fists raised, flanked by Green Lantern crackling with emerald energy, the Flash surging forward in a blaze of lightning, a mechanized Cyborg, a blue-ringed figure at the center, and a fiery presence looming in the upper right. Geoff Johns's "Forever Strong" chapter promises big stakes for the New 52's premier team, and Reis's artwork — inked here by Prado — gives the ensemble real weight and urgency. A satisfying centerpiece issue for anyone following one of 2013's most ambitious DC storylines.
