☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis issue features two main stories. The first follows a spy ring operating out of a German underground station during World War II, where agents attempt to steal secret papers and plant a bomb on a train bound for Dayton. The second story depicts Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, defending her homeland against the bird-men of the "Land of Feathered Evil," culminating in her saying farewell to allies as she prepares for the next adventure. The issue also includes a patriotic "Memo for America" promoting the purchase of war bonds and stamps.
Sheena answers a desperate jungle call from the Wasika lands, only to discover that a cunning slaver has disguised his workers as the legendary Ostrich-Men to raid villages and capture slaves while framing the peaceful tribe. After Sheena and her companion Bob are taken captive at the slaver's mine, she must use her wits and knowledge of the jungle to turn the tables—and awakens the real Ostrich-Men from their peaceful slumber to reckon with the imposters in their sacred lands.
