☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis anthology issue features several stories, including "Attu Incident" by Tom Alexander, a World War II military tale set during the May 17, 1943 landing at Holtz Bay in which three American soldiers—McLean, Jones, and Ferber—undertake a dangerous mission to unload equipment while spotting Japanese forces nearby. The issue also contains the Sheena story "Sabre Monsters of the Aba-Zanzi," in which Sheena battles a fury of beasts who would become men, and features additional stories including "The Hawk," "Midnight," "Inspector Dayton," and "The Ghost Gallery."
Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, races to the rescue when a wounded lioness attacks a safari in the Aba-Zanzi—but the family's own guide, Ruando, betrays them to the nearby Kulu head-hunters for his own vengeful ends. Now Sheena and her companion Bob must navigate treacherous jungle waters and face off against a tribe of headhunters to save Alicia, Gordon, and their daughter from a grim fate.
