"Sheena—Queen of the Jungle" features a thrilling action-packed tale involving voodoo treasure at Black Slave Lake. "Bobby" is a humorous comic strip about a young boy who makes a bet with a friend to meet at the ball park in an hour, only to discover his friend has already spent a quarter and will win the bet. A crime story shows a criminal being interrogated about a stolen diamond; the crook claims he was robbed by other criminals who gave the diamond to someone to pawn off, and a detective named Dayton pursues the gang while the criminal attempts a daring escape. Additionally, the issue features "The Lisbon Clipper," an action-adventure story involving military pilots in a Lockheed Hudson aircraft on a hazardous mission, where they encounter Nazi opposition and engage in aerial combat while trying to bring down a British aircraft called the Lisbon Clipper.
Sheena and Bob encounter a group of river pirates led by Jeffers Blaque, who have stolen the scientists' diving bell after attacking their boat. As the expedition presses on toward a mysterious underground lake, Sheena uses cunning to reclaim the stolen equipment, only to find their journey is being watched and tracked by unseen forces in the jungle.
