Following the death of King K'Jabo, Sheena and Bob attend the coronation of Simbulu as his chosen successor. Bulgora objects. Months later, Sheena and Bob are leading a caravan of new soldiers sent from the Commissioner to King Simbulu. After they lure Sheena away, the caravan is attacked by Bulgora and his men, who capture Bob and Simbulu. Before they can be killed, Sheena rescues them. Bulgora challenges Simbulu but is beaten by him, finally securing the throne.
