Jughead's Double Digest #148

Jughead is having a very good hat day on Stan Goldberg and Rich Koslowski's cheerful cover for this 2009 Archie digest — our favorite Riverdale slacker sports a towering stack of hats in every style imaginable, from a straw boater to a leopard-print number, while holding still more in each hand. The cover teases the lead story, "A Tip of the Hat," in which Jughead apparently goes undercover, and the digest also promises a bonus "Little Jughead" feature inside. It's a fun, jam-packed package that showcases exactly the kind of good-natured Jughead humor that has made this series a reliable treat.
