“The Case of the Long Con”

In "The Case of the Long Con," Archie’s usual mix-up with lab equipment takes a slippery turn when a dropped beaker of acid damages the chemistry lab floor, leading to an unlikely punishment: polishing Mr. Weatherbee’s desk and chair. But when Archie’s well-meaning attempt to help goes awry—accidentally mixing acid into the varnish—the entire setup starts to unravel in ways no one saw coming. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Harry Lucey, with inks by Mario Acquaviva, this classic-style mishap is a perfect blend of slapstick and schoolhouse chaos, all wrapped in a cover by Bill Golliher and Jim Amash.
