Jughead & Friends Digest Magazine #24
In "Chick Magnet," Archie’s attempt to sell adorable baskets backfires in the best way possible—turning him into an instant sensation with the girls of Riverdale. When a cop shows up to shut him down, the crowd rallies around him, claiming the baskets are just sweet tokens for his many admirers. But just as he thinks he’s out of trouble, Veronica catches wind of the attention, and suddenly Archie’s begging to be locked up—just to stay safe. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Bob White, with vibrant colors by Barry Grossman and sharp lettering by Bill Yoshida, this lighthearted, mischievous tale captures the chaos of teenage crushes and the lengths one boy will go to avoid the consequences. The cover, by Bill Galvan and Bob Smith, perfectly captures the moment’s playful tension.
