Summer picnic perfection with Riverdale's most famous appetite — this June 1974 issue puts Jughead front and center on a sunny lakeside blanket, happily working through a towering stack of sandwiches while Archie, Veronica, and the gang look on with knowing smiles. The cover gag, delivered straight from Betty and Archie's speech bubbles, says it all: no leftovers are safe when Jug's along for the outing. Cover art by Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick captures the easy, warm charm of the Archie series at its most enjoyable, with interior stories written and drawn by Samm Schwartz.
