Jughead #200

A milestone 200th issue calls for a suitably towering occasion, and this January 1972 Archie Series comic delivers just that — Pop Tate stands wide-eyed behind his counter, knife in hand, facing a comically enormous stacked sandwich that dwarfs everything around him while Archie and Jughead look on from across the counter. Dan DeCarlo's cover art captures the warm, cheerful chaos of Pop's Chocklit Shoppe perfectly, with speech bubbles quipping about Jughead's "tall order" and a tempting sundae advertisement adding to the soda-shop atmosphere.
