“The Fiend”

Jughead has found the perfect loophole at the Star Drive-In Theatre — he's shown up with an entire refrigerator packed into his convertible, much to the bewilderment of the ticket booth attendant and his friends Veronica and Archie, who can't help but laugh. The speech bubble says it all: "What do you mean I can't take it INSIDE with me?" Bill Vigoda's cover perfectly captures that signature Jughead ingenuity, turning a $1.25 admission into a full-scale catering operation. A delightful 1967 snapshot of Riverdale humor at its most relatable.
