Jughead's laid-back philosophy is on full display in this September 1967 entry from Archie Series, with cover pencils by Bill Vigoda. A sweating Archie asks how Jug beats the summer heat, and our crown-wearing hero — lounging contentedly in a lawn chair — gestures to a framed picture of himself shoveling through a blizzard, cheerfully reasoning that nothing makes a hot day feel better than remembering winter snow. A small scuffle scene tucked into the banner above adds a little extra Riverdale mischief to round out this charmingly funny twelve-cent package.
