JSA Monster Edition #1
In "Unrecht für Alle Teil 1 - Teilen und Erobern," Hawkman and Hawkgirl lead the JSA in a desperate bid to reclaim their freedom and confront the enigmatic threat of Synn. With the Nth-Metal claw at the heart of the conflict and the team's unity tested, the heroes must find strength in their bond to reclaim control from an enemy who absorbs their greatest weapon. Written by David Goyer, Geoff Johns, and Christian Heiß, with art by Stephen Sadowski and inks by Michael Bair, Dave Meikis, Paul Neary, and Rob Leigh, the issue features dynamic coloring by John Kalisz and Heroic Age, and lettering by RAM. The cover by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer captures the intensity of the battle in the making.
In "Unrecht für Alle Teil 1 - Teilen und Erobern," the Justice Society of America is caught off guard as members face coordinated attacks—both at home and in their headquarters—by the Injustice Society. Amid the chaos, Johnny Sorrow makes a daring move, stealing the vessel that holds the King of Tears from Scarab.
In "Unrecht für Alle Teil 2 - Kalte Fürsorge," the JSA races to stop Sorrow from freeing the King of Tears, even as the cost mounts—Dr. Mid-Nite falls in the effort. The story pushes the team to their limits in a desperate bid to prevent a catastrophe they can’t yet fully comprehend.
In "Unrecht für Alle Teil 3 - Sorrows Geschichte," Jo recalls the moment the JSA first encountered Sorrow—when a mistaken dimensional rift sent him to a realm ruled by the King of Tears, who then orchestrated his return to Earth. Now, in the present, Sorrow has finally freed the King, setting a long-buried plan in motion.
In "Unrecht für Alle Teil 4 - Im Labyrinth," Black Adam leads Wildcat to the Fels der Ewigkeit to introduce him to the new Spectre, as the König der Tränen lays waste to Manhattan. Meanwhile, Black Canary works a miracle by reviving Dr. Mid-Nite, setting the stage for a clash between the Spectre and the sorrow-driven tyrant—though the outcome remains uncertain.
In "Unrecht für Alle Teil 5 - Göttliche Reise," Flash is hurled into ancient Egypt after a desperate attempt to defeat the King of Tears, where he’s discovered by Prince Khufu, the sorcerer Nabu, and the enigmatic Teth-Adam. Stranded across time and caught in a mystery far older than the Speed Force, Flash must navigate a world where myth and magic shape destiny.
In "Schutzengel," the JSA rebuilds their headquarters and navigates personal reckonings, as Black Adam prepares to join the team. Zauriel delivers a startling revelation to Hawkgirl, while Prinz Khufu leads Flash to a mysterious crashed spacecraft—hinting at deeper mysteries beyond the team’s immediate struggles.
In "Verlorene Freunde," the JSA grapples with the revelation that Hawkgirl is not Kendra Saunders but a reincarnation of Shiera Sanders Hall, forcing them to confront the weight of identity and legacy. When Flash returns from the past bearing the Claw of Horus, the truth of her origins pulls Hawkgirl into a journey that culminates in her sudden transport to Thanagar.
In "Aufstieg," the JSA journeys to Thanagar to find Hawkgirl, who uncovers a desperate mission: to unite with her to overthrow Onimar Synn, the tyrant ruling the planet. With her help, Hawkman is awakened from stasis, setting the stage for a high-stakes alliance across worlds.
In "Ikarus fiel," the Justice Society of America—now including Hawkman—faces off against the relentless Onimar Synn, only to be overwhelmed and imprisoned. With most of the team captured, Hawkgirl and Hawkman are cast from the floating city, plummeting toward certain doom.
In "Sieben Teufel," Hawkman and Hawkgirl fight to reclaim their minds and free the rest of the JSA from Synn’s grasp, only to face a terrifying foe who absorbs all Nth-metal—including the Claw of Horus. With time running out and their powers fading, the duo must find a way to reconnect not just their strength, but their souls, to reclaim the Claw and break Synn’s hold from within.
