Western DC fans had plenty to savor in March 2006 with this third issue of the Jonah Hex series from writers Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti. Phil Noto's cover presents the scarred bounty hunter himself, dual revolvers drawn and aimed with cold intent, cigar clenched in his teeth against a backdrop of skull-ringed targets on weathered wood — a portrait of grim frontier menace. Adding even more frontier appeal, the cover prominently announces a guest appearance by Bat Lash, promising a fine pairing of DC's most distinctive Western characters in the story "Eye For an Eye.
