John Constantine: Hellblazer #8

There's something deeply unsettling — and oddly funny — about seeing John Constantine laid out among the fish at a British market stall, cigarette still dangling from his lip, surrounded by price-tagged seafood like Wild Striped Bass (£7.99) and Lane Snapper (£8.99), while a hand holds up what appears to be a numbered tag. John Paul Leon's cover for issue #8 of the Sandman Universe's John Constantine: Hellblazer is a wonderfully grim piece of imagery, equal parts noir and dark comedy. Simon Spurrier, Aaron Campbell, and Jordie Bellaire continue "Britannia, Rule the Waves, Part Two," and if this cover is any indication, Constantine's situation has gotten decidedly... fishy.
