Z sends the JLA to face their greatest fears: Superman goes to Metropolis to stop someone form killing him then devouring Lois. Flash is trapped on a moon with little atmosphere and no access to the Speed Force. Wonder Woman is submerged without any sense of direction or solid ground to stand on. Batman faces multiple Jokers killing multiple victims. Green Lantern is in a wooded area facing an armored samurai,and the Martian Manhunter faces H‘Ronmeer on Old Mars. But the JLA realize these are old, conquered fears and reject their surroundings.
