“New Maps of Hell -- Part Six”

In "New Maps of Hell — Part Six," Warren Ellis and Butch Guice deliver a tense, mind-bending chapter as Oracle deciphers ancient texts with a team of specialists, unlocking the key to rescuing a fallen hero. With the JLA reassembled and time running out, J’Onn J’onzz links their minds while Wally West opens the Speed Force—giving the team a fleeting window to act before Z’s influence consumes them all. The cover by Michael Stribling captures the moment’s urgency, a striking visual for this pivotal 2006 issue.

With a series of aides, scientists and magicians, Oracle gets the documents translated as the JLA reconvenes. She sends a picture of the gate needed to bring them back to Green Lantern’s mind, where he recreates the picture with his ring. J’Onn joins the heroes’ minds together to help Kyle, and Wally grants the team access to the Speed Force so it’s all done before they are destroyed by Z.
