This 1987 DC special brings together two of comics' most distinctive super-teams in a crossover billed right on the cover as "Part Two of Two, Co-Starring the Outsiders." Eduardo Barreto's cover art is a kinetic, wall-to-wall clash of heroes and combatants, dominated by a red-and-black costumed figure wearing a split comedy/tragedy mask — Mister Bones — surging forward with energy crackling from his hands, while a green-clad aerial figure, a caped dark figure, and a swarm of Infinity Inc. and Outsiders members tumble and fight across the entire composition. With Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and a full creative team behind the interior story, this special-edition format gives both teams plenty of room to share the spotlight in what promises to be a satisfying conclusion to the crossover.
