When the president bans super-heroes, they just go someplace else — and that someplace is Calgary, Canada, where Injustice Unlimited has set up shop. The cover by McFarlane and DeZuniga assembles a colorful rogues' gallery front and center — a top-hatted villain wielding a mace, a grinning woman in red, a mustachioed figure in a blue hat, a blonde heroine, and a smirking white-haired schemer — while the Infinity Inc. team swoops through the city skyline below in a lively, wide-angle composition. Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and the McFarlane/DeZuniga art team were clearly firing on all cylinders with this 1987 clash of heroes and villains set against a very Canadian backdrop.
