Impulse #82
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this March 2002 issue says it all with its bold tagline — "Monsters from the Kid!" — as Impulse stands wide-eyed and open-mouthed at center, fists clenched, while a fearsome crowd of creatures closes in: a snarling dinosaur-like beast, a bulky blue armored monster, and a green reptilian figure, among others. Crouched at Impulse's feet is a frightened young blonde girl, making the speedster's protective stance all the more urgent. Carlo Barberi's pencils and Wayne Faucher's inks give the whole chaotic scene a wonderfully kinetic energy that fits the series' signature mix of humor and heart.
