There's something genuinely charming about this May 1997 cover — a sulking Impulse, arms crossed and looking thoroughly chastened in his red-and-black costume, while a determined young woman in a sleek teal suit wags her finger and orders him straight to his hiberchamber with no holovids tonight. The futuristic, purple-hued architecture behind them hints at a far-flung setting that gives the story title "You and Me Against the World" an intriguing twist. Humberto Ramos and Wayne Faucher bring their kinetic, expressive style to what looks like one of the more playfully domestic standoffs Bart Allen has ever faced.
