Impulse #76
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of Impulse #76 poses a genuinely funny question — "Where Did Impulse Get His New Power?" — as the red-masked, brown-haired speedster leans intently over a diagram labeling body parts as literal objects: a "rubber neck," "rib cage," "stomach pump," "navel orange," and more, while a blonde companion peers at the chart with equal bewilderment. Carlo Barberi's pencils (inked by Wayne Faucher) give the whole thing a playful, cartoonish energy that captures Impulse's signature mix of earnestness and absurdity perfectly. If you've been following DeZago and Barberi's run, this 2001 issue looks like a treat.
