Impulse #40
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeImpulse and Max Mercury are bound together in a three-legged race at what looks like Manchester's Student/Parent Day — and judging by the chaos on the cover, things are going about as smoothly as you'd expect. Craig Rousseau and Wayne Faucher deliver a wonderfully energetic scene, with the two speedsters tangled up mid-stride, a blonde girl caught in the collision, and colorful balloons floating above the cheerful outdoor backdrop. William Messner-Loebs's story title, "Like a Two-Legged Man in a Three-Legged Race," promises the kind of lighthearted, character-driven fun that made this series such a delight in 1998.
