Hyde Street #8

A child huddled beneath a dark cloak reads a Hyde Street comic by the warm glow of a lantern, their oversized hypno-spiral glasses giving them an eerie, wide-eyed look — it's a wonderfully self-referential image that pulls you right into the series' unsettling atmosphere. Ivan Reis and Danny Miki craft a cover that balances childhood curiosity with creeping dread, the flickering candlelight and deep shadows hinting at something lurking just beyond the page. Geoff Johns and his team deliver issue eight of this Ghost Machine title with "A Trip to the Doctor!" — and that title alone suggests Hyde Street's brand of cozy-turned-sinister storytelling is very much alive.
