Mr. Fantastic informs Flux about the Resurrection Lily in the Savage Land which can restore a person to full health. Wolverine leads Flux to find it with Flux's family tagging along. Ka-Zar helps guide the party to the lily, but they run into a band of armed mercenaries who are after the flower. Kelly is fatally injured and Dennis decides to save her life instead of his own.
