Hellions #8

Zeb Wells and Stephen Segovia's Hellions #8 charges forward with a cover that captures the team at full, feral intensity — a snarling, wild-haired mutant lunges at the foreground with claws bared, while a gold-and-red armored figure drives a fist through the chaos behind him. Rounding out the melee are a figure in black-and-white wielding what appears to be a weapon, a dark-haired woman armed with a blade, and a crystalline winged form aloft amid explosions and shattered machinery, all rendered in David Curiel's vivid, fiery colors. "The Grinning Neonate" is a wonderfully ominous story title to hang over this much barely-contained mayhem, making issue #8 a compelling addition to one of the Krakoan era's most entertainingly chaotic team books.
