Zeb Wells and Stephen Segovia's Hellions #9 opens a new arc — "Funny Games: Level 1" — with a cover that immediately signals trouble: a grinning, menacing figure looms large, holding up a "MISSING" poster bearing the face of Mister Sinister, which itself contains a recursive smaller version of the same image. It's an unsettling visual joke that perfectly captures the series' dark, twisted sense of humor, rendered with sharp detail by Segovia and colored with moody depth by David Curiel. If this team of Krakoa's most volatile mutants has somehow misplaced their handler, things are about to get very interesting.
