In 1944, in the ruined church of East Bromwich, 1st Sgt. George Whitman joins British Paranormal Society specialists as they confront a supernatural disturbance in the ether—only to witness a demonic child emerge in a blaze of fire, christened Hellboy by Trevor Bruttenholm. Years later, in 1994, Hellboy listens to Bruttenholm’s tale of a frozen Arctic expedition, only to be thrown into chaos when a sudden swarm of frog-like creatures invades the office, leading to a violent confrontation and a desperate call to the B.U.A.P. headquarters.

In "Saat der Zerstörung, Kapitel Zwei," Hellboy arrives at Cavendish Hall with Liz Sherman and Abe Sapien to uncover the secrets of a forgotten Arctic expedition. As the trio delves into the family’s past, tensions rise when Liz vanishes and Abe ventures beneath the estate’s murky waters—leaving Hellboy to face a grotesque amphibious threat before confronting the enigmatic Rasputin.

In "Saat der Zerstörung, Kapitel Drei," Hellboy confronts the dark legacy of his creation as Rasputin recounts his hidden role in the Nazi project Ragnarök—and the awakening of the Ogdru-Jahad, ancient entities whose voices now call to the transformed Sven Olafsen from the frozen north. With echoes of forgotten experiments and the looming presence of the Seven Beasts, the past and the apocalypse converge in a tale where myth and madness collide.

In "Saat der Zerstörung, Kapitel Vier," Hellboy battles a grotesque frog-like creature while Liz's energy is hijacked by Rasputin and channeled through Sadu-Hem to free the Ogdru-Jahad—ancient, alien horrors bound beneath the earth. As the spirit of Elihu Cavendish urges Abe forward, the deadly strain of unleashed power proves too much for Rasputin, forcing Hellboy into a final confrontation with the sorcerer.
