This September 1988 entry in DC's mature-readers series presents a cover by Dave McKean that is as unsettling as it is arresting — a massive, horned shadowy figure looms in the foreground, arm raised against a brick wall, while a crowd of hollow-eyed, suited figures gathers beneath a smoldering orange-and-blue sky. The contrast between the brooding supernatural threat above and the eerily composed assembly below gives the image a genuinely chilling atmosphere that suits the "Shot to Hell" story within perfectly.
