Part of Peter Milligan's long run on the series, Hellblazer #292 arrives in August 2012 with a cover by Simon Bisley that immediately commands attention — a dark-haired young woman in a leather jacket is clasped from behind by a hulking, snarling werewolf, its clawed hands wrapped around her as it looms with teeth bared and tongue lolling. The arc title "The House of Wolves" couldn't feel more apt given that unsettling embrace, which reads as equal parts menacing and disturbingly possessive. Bisley's raw, visceral linework is a perfect match for Constantine's world of supernatural dread.
