Haunted Horror #16
In "The Man Who Outdistanced Death!", two bacteriologists unleash a terrifying new strain of bacteria with a mind of its own. When one scientist tries to stop it, his colleague kills him—only to realize too late that he’s the only one who can control the ever-growing, all-consuming horror he’s created. Al Avison’s stark, expressive art brings the creeping dread to life, while George Roussos’s cover captures the chilling essence of a world overtaken by an unstoppable force.
