In "Mind Over Matter," a desperate doctor discovers a terrifying power from a dying mystic: the ability to enter another person’s mind. When he tests it on a homicidal maniac, he’s nearly consumed by the man’s violent thoughts, leaving him shaken. The story ends with the doctor choosing silence—realizing some secrets are too dangerous to share.
