"Weird Watson" shows a mysterious figure in a top hat and red scarf visiting a pet shop, where he retrieves a small creature. The issue also includes a "Weird Watson" humorous segment and a promotional page offering prizes for religious service and good deeds.

In "The Corpse That Lived!", a woman buried with her jewels stirs back to life when grave robbers open her coffin—only to awaken to a second chance at life. Based on a real-life tale linked to the mother of novelist Sir Walter Scott, the story unfolds with eerie plausibility, blending mystery and the macabre in a haunting, true-seeming account.
In a secluded Athenian house said to be haunted, a writer investigating the local legend is confronted by the spectral figure of a chained man, who leads him through the dark halls to a hidden garden. There, the phantom vanishes, prompting the writer to summon the magistrate, who discovers a centuries-old skeleton still bound in chains. The story ends with the remains freed from their bonds and given a proper burial, bringing an end to the ghost’s torment.
