“Eternal Love”

Charlton's All New Haunted #12 (1973) serves up a genuinely unsettling cover by Joe Staton — a young boy in a pink shirt and blue jeans crouches over a spotted, sickly green egg perched on a rocky ledge, while a looming dark figure hovers ominously above him. The cover tagline says it all: "Sometimes Little Harry finds strange things… sometimes they find HIM!" — a perfectly eerie promise from one of Charlton's most atmospheric horror anthologies of the era.
