After sinking four boats (only four?), Groo and Rufferto arrive at a land where the populace is terrified over a doom prediction made by the prophet Sybilia. Groo slays an attacking monster, routs an invading army... and, rather than his usually being the *cause* of great panic and destruction, becomes the hero of the villagers. However, neither the monster, nor the invading army, were the doom-bringers that Sybilia prophesized, and the "true and horrifying doom" still lies ahead. Is Groo up to the challenge... or could HE himself BE the challenge?
