Groo: The Prophecy #2

The wandering swordsman Groo dominates this cover in his familiar yellow tunic and horned helmet, twin blades crossed behind him as he cradles his beloved dog Rufferto — both wearing their signature wide-eyed expressions that somehow manage to look simultaneously heroic and hapless. Behind them, a colorful crowd of villagers (chickens included) watches with the kind of giddy anticipation that suggests whatever prophecy is unfolding, it probably involves a great deal of chaos. Part two of this 2026 Dark Horse four-issue series from Aragonés, Evanier, Sakai, and Strachan keeps the warmth and absurdist charm that makes Groo one of comics' most enduring delights.
