This 2002 collection brings together the five interconnected 'Circle of Fire' one-shot issues that spun out of the Green Lantern series, each written by a different creative team. The story arc follows Kyle Rayner as he confronts a mysterious threat that manifests as a ring of fire in space, leading to encounters with new and alternate versions of Green Lanterns from across the cosmos. The volume collects Green Lantern: Circle of Fire #1–2 and the four character-specific one-shots featuring Green Lanterns from other worlds and timelines.

In "Darkness Visible," former Manhunter Green Lantern and Firestorm race against time to locate the Omega Option, uncovering a planet under siege by a mysterious cosmic entity whose abilities echo Firestorm’s own. Written by Jay Faerber and brought to life by Ron Randall’s art, Dan Davis’s inks, and Tom McCraw and Digital Chameleon’s colors, this 2002 issue features a striking cover by Darryl Banks and Kevin Nowlan.
