Green Lantern #54

Part of DC's 2010 Brightest Day crossover, Green Lantern #54 brings the rage of the Red Lanterns crashing into New York City. Shane Davis and Sandra Hope's cover puts a monstrous, decay-faced Red Lantern front and center — his corps emblem blazing on his chest and a flaming chain arcing behind him — while a smaller Red Lantern streaks in from the background and a terrified bystander watches from a subway booth labeled "New York City." The tagline "The City of Great Rage!" promises exactly the kind of street-level chaos that Geoff Johns and Doug Mahnke deliver throughout their run on this title.
