Sinestro goes to Oa alongside John Stewart and Katma Tui to warn the surviving Guardians of the renegade Guardians' plan (killed in Crisis on Infinite Earths (DC, 1985 series) #9 and recapped in Green Lantern (DC, 1976 series) #195). At first he isn't believed by them, until a possessed Arisia (by the Main Power Battery) tells them what he speaks is true. The entire surviving Green Lantern Corps then head to the antimatter universe to stop the plan, while Sinestro is placed in a cell.
